MHC Falls in Back-to-Back Games Against Clippers

Medicine Hat (October 28, 2023) – Clippers 95 at 89 Rattlers

 

In the second game of the weekend series, the MHC College Rattlers look to host the Briercrest Clippers for the last game of the two.

 

In the first quarter, both teams came out looking for victory. Francis Dogani of the Clippers came to play this early afternoon game, tallying a total of 9 points, going 4 for 5 from the floor. Kieran Isnor on the Rattlers led his team with 10 points in this quarter. The Clippers ended up victorious in this quarter, ending it at 28-24.

 

The second quarter of the game was a nail biting battle the whole time. Oroma Bongomin added 8 points to the quarter, for the first half ending score of 50 for the Clippers. Jordan Biggar of the Rattlers contributed 11 points, as the Rattlers trail by 6 going into the second half of the game.

 

MHC came out in the 3rd quarter and took control of the 10-minute stretch.  A balanced offensive attack was led by Kieran Isnor, not showing any sign of fatigue. Kieran Isnor of the Rattlers continued dominating the points department and secured 8 out of 20 Rattler points in the quarter.

 

In the 4th quarter, Briercrest held onto their lead throughout the final 10 minutes. Briercrest took both games over the weekend and traveled home victorious. The final score of the game was 95-89 in favor of the Briercrest Clippers.
