Lightning Fall to the Rattlers in Home Opener

The Lighting and Rattlers came out battling. They exchange basket for basket for the first quarter and tied at 21 to 21. The second quarter was no different as the Lightning and Rattlers continued to battle leaving the Lightning up by 2 points to end the half. The third quarter proved to be no different as the Rattlers came out firing and increased their lead to 3 going into the fourth. However the Rattlers didn't back down and overcame the Lightning with a nail biting fourth quarter. The final score was 93 to 88 in favor of the Rattlers. The players of the game were #5 Kieran Isnor with 31 points, 2 steals, 3 assists and 9 rebounds for the Rattlers and #3 Caleb Jipp with 26 points, 3 steals, 3 assists and 4 rebounds for the Lightning. The Lightning end the weekend with a 1-1 record. The Lightning men will square off against the Lethbridge Kodiaks next Friday in Lethbridge at 8pm.
