Lighting Strike the Rattlers at Home

MHC hosts St. Mary's university lightning for their second home game of the season. In the first quarter, the final score was 24-16 in favor of St. Mary's. Jordan Biggar had an outstanding first quarter with 5 points, with 3 rebounds. On St. Mary's side of the court, Pelumi Ajayi came to play with 8 points, with 4 rebounds.

In the second quarter MHC ended with 21, Whilst St. Mary's took the lead ahead farther, ending with 32. Kieran Isnor added to the scoring charts for the Rattlers with 5 points, 3 steals, and 2 assists in the quarter while Brock Dewsbury poured in 18 points for the Lighting. At the half the Lightning lead 56-37.

The third quarter was, again, all lightning as they outscored the Rattlers 36-23. The lightning also shot 72% from the field in the quarter to extend their lead. Jordan Biggar added in 8 points in the quarter for the Rattlers.

The 4th quarter more back and forth as the Rattlers cut into the lightning lead winning the quarter by 4 points but ultimately fell 106-80. Noah Neilsen was the top scorer of the quarter for the half. The Tiki Press Player of the Game for the Rattlers was Jordan Bigger & for the Lightning was Brock Dewsbury. The teams go at it again tomorrow in Calgary in the back half of the home-and home.
