Eagles lose nail biter vs. Huskies

Eagles lose nail biter vs. Huskies

The King's University Eagles looked to finish their semester off strong, as they took on the Keyano College Huskies. The Eagles, coming off their bye week, looked to continue their winning ways as they defeated the Grand Prairie Wolves in their last game. While the Huskies, 1st in the north division, are on a nine game winning streak and looking to continue that trend.
In the first half, the Huskies looked energized as they looked to run the Eagles off the court with their press and fast break. But the Eagles were able to hang in as they weathered the constant pressure of the Huskies. The Eagles were able to go on a late half run as they trimmed the lead of Huskies down 37-39.
In the second half, the Eagles kept their momentum going from the end of the first half, as they stayed close behind the Huskies. Early in the fourth, the Eagles were able take their first lead of the game, but the Huskies dug deep and were able to rally back and take the game in the last 3 minutes 74-65.

The Eagles will be looking to end their semester with a win as they take on the Huskies once more, November 30th, at The King's University Gym, @ 3pm
