ACAC Curling Winter Regional - Day 3

Edmonton, AB (January 21, 2024) The final day of the regional kicked off at 9 AM with five games.

 

The men's action didn't start until the last slate of the day with the final three games occurring. Lakeland and Red Deer were both able to end the weekends off on a high note by winning their last games. NAIT was able to come away with another victory ending the weekend with a record of 5-0.

 

The women's action saw Concordia continue to roll with a 9-2 victory over Red Deer. The SAIT women finished off the weekend with a victory, sitting them at 5-1 for the weekend. Augustana and Lakeland went down to the wire with the Vikings taking the 6-5 victory. The final slate of games for the weekend saw both Red Deer and Night finish their weekends off with wins. Concordia came away with the best record on the weekend going 6-0.

 

The mixed teams had 2 games in the opening window of games for the day. Lakeland was able to handle SAIT 15-8. NAIT and Concordia had their 2nd matchup of the weekend go to extra ends with NAIT coming away again with an 8-7 victory. The final slate of games for the weekend saw NAIT and Red Deer winning the last matchups of the weekend. Red Deer came away with the best record of the weekend going undefeated in all six games.
