Rachel Jost, the Lead of Thunder Women's Curling, is honored as this week's Athlete of the Week for her exceptional contributions during the recent CCAA Curling Nationals. Rachel's outstanding performance on the ice played a pivotal role in Concordia's success.

Rachel Jost's focus was on full display during the gold medal match against the SAIT Trojans at the CCAA Curling Nationals. Shooting an impressive 100%, Jost showcased her prowess as a curler, contributing significantly to Concordia's victory in the championship game. Furthermore, Jost's stellar performance throughout the tournament earned her a well-deserved spot on the CCAA first team all-star awards, solidifying her status as one of the top curlers in collegiate curling.

Rachel is from St. Albert AB and is currently taking her Bachelor of Science at Concordia. Her leadership on and off the ice, coupled with her exceptional skill, inspired her teammates and propelled the Thunder Women's Curling team to capture a national championship title.
