ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Thunder Badminton soared to victory this weekend, clinching the team championship with Jasleen Kaur leading the charge and earning well-deserved recognition as Athlete of the Week.

Having dominated the Women's Singles category throughout the season, Jasleen continued her stellar performance, securing crucial team points in both Women's Singles and Mixed Doubles events on Saturday, contributing significantly to Thunder's triumph.

Currently in her fourth year, Jasleen is set to graduate this spring with a Bachelor of Management degree. In her final season donning Thunder's Blue and Gold, her performance has been exceptional. She emerged victorious in all three tournaments in the women's singles category this season and claimed the top spot in the mixed doubles category in Tournament Two alongside partner Raphael Motel.

Jasleen's dedication and hard work have earned her prestigious accolades, including Player of the Year and an ACAC All-Conference award.


GAME ON: A GLIMPSE AHEAD

Looking ahead, Kaur will represent Thunder at the CCAA National Championships in Seneca, ON, marking the culmination of her illustrious ACAC career as she vies for the ultimate title.
