Concordia Thunder's Leonard Chesoo emerged victorious at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Cross Country Running National Championships this past weekend, claiming the gold in the fiercely contested men's 8km individual race.

Chesoo's remarkable performance saw him cross the finish line with a stellar time of 24 minutes and 37 seconds, securing his third national gold medal in the process. His previous triumphs in 2019 and 2021 have now been complemented by this latest achievement.

This championship race marks the culmination of an illustrious Cross-Country career for the Thunder all-star, and it couldn't have concluded on a higher note. Congratulations to Leonard Chesoo on a truly successful ACAC Cross-Country Running career, exemplifying the epitome of dedication and excellence in the sport.

Chesoo hails from Iten, Kenya, and is currently in his fifth-year as a Bachelor of Science student.
