2024/25 SEASON RECAP
Last season was one to remember as teams battled it out all year competing for a spot at the 2024/25 ACAC Volleyball Championships. The 8 victorious teams included, SAIT Trojans, NAIT Ooks, Briercrest Clippers, Red Deer Queens (RDP), Lakeland Rustlers, Augustana Vikings (UAA), Ambrose Lions and The King's University Eagles (TKU).
With a Cinderella-style victory over the Briercrest Clippers in Semi-finals—hosts of the 2024/25 ACAC Volleyball Championships—the Augustana Vikings defied expectations and earned their place in the final showdown of the 2024/25 ACAC Season on home court. There, they faced the formidable Lakeland Rustlers, the reigning two-time CCAA Volleyball Champions. In a thrilling battle of grit and skill, the Rustlers once again proved their dominance, capturing their third consecutive ACAC Championship title.
Both the Vikings and the Rustlers punched their tickets to the CCAA Nationals at Durham College in Ontario, where the Rustlers went on to make history—clinching their third straight CCAA Championship crown.
