Rustlers finish regular season with Clippers sweep

Lakeland heads into the ACAC championship on an eight-game win streak after Saturday's win over the Clippers.

The Rustlers started the first set strong, at one point leading the visitors 19-1, eventually ending the set with 25-7. While the Clippers had a better showing over the next two sets, it wasn't enough to stay with the home side, who won both 25-16.

The Clipper's 5th year players, Jess Zacharias and Kelsey Symes, were the game's POG's along with Jana Laing for the Rustlers.

Lakeland finishes with an 18-1 record, best in the ACAC. They now have a bye weekend, before taking on the winner of Briercrest and SAIT at the Elite Eight.
