Rustlers dominant in win over Thunder

Lakeland's decade of winning against Concordia continued on Friday in one of their most complete performances of the season.

The Rustlers entred the weekend after having swept their top rival King's the previous week, while the Thunder are coming off of their own sweep over NAIT. After a first 10-12 points were competitive, the Rustlers superior offence helped them pull away 25-13. After a 25-11 second set, the Thunder increased their energy on defence in the third. However, it still wasn't enough, as the Rustlers completed the sweeep, 25-13.

Tanisha Cronin was the road POG, while Seanna Trumier got the nod for Lakeland.

This improves the Rustlers to 15-1, clear of the competition in the North Division. They are on the road Saturday for their rematch with the Thunder.
