A close match sees the Clippers knock off the Rattlers in 4 sets

Jan. 20, 2023

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers played hosts to the Briercrest Clippers in ACAC women's volleyball action.  On a night the Rattlers hosted their ACAC RBC  Make Some Noise for Mental Health campaign, the SnakePit was home to some Loud and Exciting volleyball action.  Set one opened with a lot of back and forth action in the early part of the match.  The Clippers began to pull ahead and took set one 25-18.  Set two was tight throughout with both teams controlling play at times.  The Rattlers grabbed a lead late and took the set 25-23.  MHC jumped out to an early 7-3 lead in set three only to see the Clippers roar back and take it 25-16.  Set four was another very tight set with both teams seeing the lead come and go. The Clippers took advantage of a couple of late service errors and took the set 26-24 and the match three sets to one.  The ACAC Players of the game were #16 Kelsey Simes from the Clippers and #1 Olivia Jacobson from the rattlers.  The two teams will meet again tomorrow in the SnakePit.
