Wolves open with a quick 2-1 lead. NWP #10 Katie Nashim with a big kill for the wolves keeps the Wolves ahead by 2. Lions #3 Bethany Johnson returns and kills the ball to tighten the scoring gap, score 6-5 for the Wolves. NWP #15 Lexis Ouellette serves an ace score is 10-5 for the Wolves and Ambrose calls a timeout. Lions gain 5 points for a score of 11-10 for NWP, coach Lauren Hale Miller calls a time out. Loins catch the Wolves and tie up the score 15-15. Lions pull ahead with a 5-point lead, NWP calls a time out. Wolves can't catch the Lions lead and the first set goes to Ambrose 25-19.

Ambrose gets the first point of the set. #15 Lexis Ouellette with the block gets the Wolves on the score board. #10 Katie Nashim finds the open space for the Wolves kill. Ambrose still leads 5-3. Ambrose continues to put the pressure on and builds their lead 9-4. Wolves call a time out. Ambrose's serve goes long after the time out and Wolves take the point. #10 Katie Nashim gets an ace serve for the Wolves. Points go back and fourth, and Wolves claw their way back within 1-point. Ambrose leads the set 13-12. A nice kill by #1 Brandi Hanna gives Ambrose another point. Wolves #1 Sierra LaValley answers back with a beautiful kill. Wolves still only trail by 1 point. Wolves #10 Katie Nashim picks up her third kill of the day. Ambrose #12 Gracee Fehr with the kill. Ace serve for #3 Bethany Johnson gives Ambrose another point. Ambrose leads 18-16. Wovles #13 Alex Pullishy finds the open space. An excellent hustle by the Wolves but they fall short – Ambrose picks up another point. Wolves call a time out. Ambrose leads 22-17. Ambrose takes the second set 25-17.

Ambrose starts with the serve in the third set, and picks up the first point. A net serve gives the Wolves the serve. Points are tight and the Lions tie it up at 6-6. NWP #3 Gracie Smith with the kill to take a 1 point lead, score is 9-8 for the Wolves. Ambrose responds and the score is point for point and tied at 10-10. Lions #1 Brandi Hanna with an ace serve puts the Lions ahead by 1, score is 13-12 for Ambrose.  #13 Alex Pullishy with a nice kill tightens the scoring for the Wolves, score is Ambrose 15-13. NWP #3 Gracie Smith with a kill puts the Wolves within 2 point of the Lions. #01 Sierra Lavalley gets an ace serve and Ambrose calls a time out, score 19-18 for Ambrose. Wolves work to gain points, but Lions lead 23-21, NWP calls a timeout. NWP #13 Alex Pullishy with a call to tie up the score 23-23. Wolves gain a point to lead 24-23, Ambrose calls a timeout. Ambrose ties it up at 24-24. 2 touches is called on the Wolves, but they get the next point to tie it up. Wolves take the exciting second set 27-25.

Ambrose gets back to back points to kick off the fourth set in the NWP gym. Wolves #10 Katie "Smashin" Nashim puts the Wolves on the score board. Ambrose takes an early lead 5-1. Wolves #3 Gracie Smith gets back to back powerful kills for the Wolves. Ambrose maintains their lead 6-4. Miscommunication by the Wolves leads to another Ambrose point. Ambrose #3 Bethany Johnson gets an ace serve. Wolves #13 Alex Pullishy answers back with a point for the Wolves. An excellent rally ends with another point for the Ambrose. The lions maintain their lead 10-6 over the Wolves. Give her another #13 Alex Pullishy with the kill for the Wolves. Dream team #1 Sierra LaValley and #10 Katie Nashim put up the wall for the Wolves. Wolves gain another point. Ambrose maintains their lead 14-10 over the Wolves. Wolves call a time out. Wolves come out strong after the time out and get the point. #3 Gracie Smith gets another point for the Wolves. Ambrose still leads by 4 points. Ambrose #3 Bethany Johnson with a big kill to bring the score 18-14. Ambrose continues to pull ahead score is 20-15. NWP #13 Alex Pullishy with another kill to bring the score to 21-18 for Ambrose. Lions maintain their lead 24-18 and take the final point to win the set and the game 25-18.
