Queens walk out of the Snake Pit with weekend win

The Red Deer Queens entered the Snake Pit to take on the Medicine Hat College Rattlers in their second game in 2 days. Having won a marathon the game before, the Queens looked to complete their weekend sweep. The first set started quite slow with early mistakes from both sides. Red Deer was able to open up a small lead early and never relinquished. Not looking back the visitors took a 25-17 first set victory. 

Medicine Hat was not going to roll over easily though. Jumping out to an 8-3 lead early in the second set they looked to even the match. The Queens came right back and tied the set at 9 before the Rattlers once again re-opened the lead. Capitalizing on this they were able to win 25-19 and tie the match

The third set saw the Queens race out to an early lead.up 10-3 the Queens looked to put it on cruise control. Taking full advantage of a sloppy Rattler attack, they were able to decisively take the set 25-14.

The fourth set saw a much tighter set again. Medicine Hat opened up a lead early but slowly the Queens worked their way back into the set. By the midway point, Red Deer had pulled ahead. Not able to quell their mistakes, the Rattlers once again saw the Queens cruise to a 25-16 fourth set victory winning 3-1
