Clippers Complete Unlikely Comeback Against Queens in Rematch

Things were looking dire for the Clippers women's volleyball team as they conceded the first two sets of the game to the Red Deer Queens.

The first set was extremely tight. Both teams were battling, yet the Queens always managed to maintain the lead, never giving it up. After going up 23-20, the Clippers made an attempt to claw their way back, however, the set would end in a 26-24 set win for the Queens.

While the first set was close, the second was a different story. The Queens jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Error after error marred the Clippers throughout the set, while the Queens played a strong offensive game that could not be contained. The Queens took the set 25-11.

Things must've been looking dire for the Clippers, but they stayed positive, and came out swinging, eventually taking an 18-8 lead in the set. The Queens mounted a small comeback but were eventually beaten 25-19 in the third set.

The fourth set was back and forth, with both teams delivering strong play. Eventually, the Clippers were able to take the set 25-22 after an exciting end to the set.

The momentum had clearly shifted in the Clippers by the time the fifth set came around, with the energetic crowd lending to it. Strong team communication and passing led to the Clippers taking the set 15-13, while taking the game 3-2.
