Olds, AB 

The Olds College Broncos won 3-2 over the Medicine Hat Rattlers (28-26, 25-17, 24-26, 12-25, 15-7) on Friday, February 4, 2022 at the Ralph Klein Centre. 

Rattlers came to play and took an early lead in the first set being up 15-6. Broncos claw back with a little help from Samantha Labouca, Sydney Joyce snf Georgia Loucks. Rattlers setter Jordi Hazen along with Montana Wright playing very strong at the net. We saw some scrappy play from both sides but ultimately the Broncos took the first set with a score of 28-26. 

Medicine Hats Kennedy Galloway and Ella Nichols are serving up some strong plays from the back row in this set. Francesca Sandini from the Broncos is holding her own and allow Broncos front row to really dominate.  Avery Stoddart along with Averi Gill and Tabitha Martin are owning the net for the Broncos.Olds College Broncos took the  second set 25-17. 

The third set is where the Broncos lost their balance just a little allowing the Rattlers to attack and take the set 26-24. This win takes the game to the fourth set where Broncos Avery Stoddart along with Avery Gill and Tabitha Martin dominate the net early. Rattlers Ella Nichols and Jordi Nichols along with Dryden Gris and Montana Wright led the Rattlers to win the fourth set 25-12 over the Broncos. 

The fifth set belonged to the Broncos and they weren't gonna let the Rattlers take it. The Broncos won the set 15-7.

The player of the game for the Medicine Hat Rattlers was number 19, Ella Nichols and the player of the game for the Olds College Broncos was number 6, Avery Stoddart.
