The Lakeland Rustlers take on the Grande Prairie College Wolves at Lakeland College in Lloydminster, Alberta at 6pm. The Lakeland Rustlers took a great stance against the wolves with great efforts from the whole team with many points across the whole bench. The Rustlers took home the first set 25-17. The Rustlers took the same energy into the second set, getting an early lead with 4 aces by Jenay Varga. The Wolves had a strong effort by #4 Lana Matthews but finished the set short 25-16. The Lakeland Rustlers took home the third set finishing it off 25-13. Great plays by both teams to rally up the last match. Great efforts by #11 Orianna Hyndman and #8 Avery Bates late in the 3rd set off the Lakeland Rustlers and #10 Carly Thomson. The players of the game were fifth year #15 Nicole Sharpe off the Lakeland College Rustlers and #10 Leah Friessan off the Grande Prairie Wolves. The Rustlers take on the Grande Prairie wolves again tomorrow at 1pm.
