MSN Night for the Lakeland Rustlers

The Lakeland Rustlers took on the University of Augustana Vikings tonight at Lakeland College at 6 pm. The Rustlers dedicated tonight's matches to the Make Some Noise for Mental Health Campaign to bring awareness towards the stigma around mental health and illnesses. The Rustlers took over the first set finishing it off 25-15 with great effort by #8 Avery Bates. The Vikings fired back in the second set with great efforts by #5 Sarah Dedrick on offence and defence to hustle and make plays for the Vikings taking it home 24-25. The third set started very close with many points going back and forth between the Rustlers and the Vikings, but the Vikings took it home to lead into the 4th set of the match 21-25. The Lakeland Rustlers fired back in the 4th set to take the match to 5 sets 25-21 with big plays by #13 Kaylie Lueck. The Rustlers took the 5th set to end the match 15-10 for a big win over the #1 Ranked UAA Vikings. The players of the game were #4 Jenay Varga off the Lakeland College Rustlers and #12 DJ Molle off the University of Augustana Vikings.
