Trojans Fall in Three

CALGARY, ALTA., (Dec. 4, 2021) - The SAIT Trojans women's volleyball could not re-create the magic found earlier in the night by their male counterparts.

The Trojans fell 3-0 (25-16, 27-25, 25-18) to the visiting Red Deer Polytechnic Queens in Saturday night Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) action played inside SAIT's Campus Centre just after the Trojans men's team beat the previously undefeated Kings in five sets.

The loss drops SAIT's record to 2-6 to finish the first semester. Red Deer improves to 8-0.

Red Deer was led by Jadyn Leong, who made her return to SAIT after starring for the Trojans for three seasons. She recorded eight kills in the victory.

Krystina Wanat paced the Trojans with eight kills of her own.
