Women's Soccer TKU Eagles vs CUE Thunder

 

On October 19, the King's University Eagles Women's soccer team took on Concordia University Thunder at The King's University soccer pitch at 12:00 pm. 

The King's University celebrated two graduating Eagles 6 Lexa Steenhof and 11 Kaitlyn MacIntyre for their dedication and momentous time on the team. The King's University wishes all the best for the two Eagles in the future. 

In the first half, the first fifteen minutes the atmosphere was calm yet tense as Thunder worked the fire on the Eagle's side with fantastic offense and passes. 6 Lexa Steenhof pushed a hard offensive drive towards Thunder's net with many great scored attempts. Both Eagles, 21 Ava Cunningham, and Thunder, 01Madison Kempster, goalkeepers did a tremendous job from saving many great scored attempts. Later on in the half both teams played with much intensity and enthusiasm. Thunder 13 Denae Michie played fantastic offense with noteworthy footwork. 

In the second half, again, the atmosphere was heated and tense where both the Eagles and Thunder worked extremely hard on offense, defense, and passing. Thunder 24 (6) Ava Rudyk and 7 Angelina Saporito worked the field with fantastic offensive footwork. Eagles 21 Ava Cunningham had many tremendous saves throughout the half. 

With high liveliness in the pitch's atmosphere, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in today's game.
