Women's Soccer October 12, 2024

 

On October 12, the King's University Eagles Women's soccer team took on Keyano College Huskies at The King's University soccer pitch at 2:00 pm. 

In the first half, the atmosphere was tense since both were equal in skills as both teams worked with great communication, offense, and defense. Many fantastic saves were made by Eagles 21 Ava Cunningham. Also, Huskies goalkeeper 1 Gaelyn Verdin saved many goal attempts. Huskies 15 Harleen Singh made a fantastic goal in the clustered net. 

In the second half, there were many quick turnovers as was in the first have both teams again had amazing communication, offense, defense, and ball control. Again, Eagles and Huskies goalkeepers, Eagles 21 Ava Cunningham and Huskies 1 Gaelyn Verdin, saved many scored attempts. The atmosphere in this half was far more intense than the last since both teams battled as hard as they could. Huskies 20 Nathalie Anderson scored on a semi-open net with the assist from 9 Ayla Taller. 

With high liveliness in the pitch's atmosphere, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in today's game.
