The kings University Eagles take on Concordia Thunder in their last ACAC regular season game. It was a chilly day at the GLC Field today. The Eagles come out celebrating the graduation of two players #7 Aimee Tiemstra and #12 Lexa Steenhof. Although we will see Lexa return next year for one more season as she takes on the ED program here at King's, it was still an emotional game for the Eagles. Right from kickoff you could feel the intesnity and the emotions the ladies had, with each pass they strategically placed. The Eagles brought on strong defensive play as the Thunder pressured them all throughotuhe first half. With an outstanding preformance from the Eagles keeper #1 Isabelle King the score remained 0-0 leading into the second half.
Coming into the second half the Eagles start off by working hard to be the first on the board. Despite their efforts Thunder beat them to it with a goal scored by #7 Madison Gamche. As the Eagles work hard to tie the game they could not seem to get through. The Eagles end their regular season with a close loss against the visting Concordia Thunder.
