Rattlers earn first win of the season. Top Ambrose 6-2

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers played host to the visiting Ambrose University Lions on a perfect fall day.  The Rattlers filled up the net and earned their first win of the season.  The Lions scored the first goal of the game in the 14th minute when Shifra Hetherington banged one past keeper Alyssa Heidel.  The Rattlers got that one back when Ana Waurynchuk scored in the 20th minute.  The first half ended with the teams tied at 1.  Waurynchuk gave the Rattlers the lead in the 49th minute when she banged in her second.  Victoria Kuss, Arianna Baxters, MAdaleine Heese and Maisa Rebello all scored to give the Rattlers six on the day.  Kate Siemens, in the 86th minute pulled one back for the Lions but it wasn't nearly enough as the Rattlers came out on top 6-2.  Kate Siemens was the player of the game for the Lions and Madaleine Heese earned the honours for the Rattlers.  The Rattlers improved to 1-6-0 on the season while the Lions fell to 0-8-0.
