Eagles Take On Russlers

The first half of the women's match was an evenly-battled 45 minutes in which both teams fought hard for chances, more shots for the Lakeland ladies but was answered by the number of balls the Eagles were able to run onto in the offensive zone. Unfortunately, for the Eagles in the final minutes of the half Lakeland took control and #21 Samara Allen was able to land a shot in the back of the net to end the half 1-0 Lakeland.

The second half was essentially the same as the first, both teams battling it out, chance after chance. Both teams using subs to keep their teams fresh to generate a chance, which ended up working for the Lakeland women once again as halfway-through, #12 was able to score from outside the 18. The Lakeland women were able to keep the momentum and end the game 2-0.
