LAC LA BICHE – Last week, they scored their first ever regular season goal. This week, they almost got their first ever win. On a blustery day at the Bold Center Soccer Field Saturday afternoon, the Portage College Voyageurs women's squad put up a valiant effort – and even held the lead for a good portion of the game – before eventually succumbing to The King's University (TKU) Eagles 2-1. Miriam Kabonesa played a strong game for the Voyageurs and was named Player of the Game for Portage while Jennifer Gallup was equally impressive and was named Player of the Game for the Eagles.
