Lakeland Rustlers beat the Rattlers a 2-0

Saturday afternoon's ACAC soccer matchup brought the Lakeland College Rustlers in to town to battle against the hometown Medicine Hat College Rattlers.  The first half closed with the Rustlers up 1-0 as fifith year senior Ashley Miller capitalized to score the games opening goal.  The Rattlers avoided a 2-0 deficit as goal keeper Kassidy Suberlak made a big save on a penalty kick.  As the second half got underway, the hard fought match continued.  Ashley Miller potted her second of the game in the 90th minute to secure a 2-0 win for Lakeland.  The player of the game for the Rustlers with two goals was #12 Ashley Miller.  The player of the game for the rattlers was #17 Cassidy LaRochelle.  The Rattlers wrap up their season tomorrow when they host the Red Deer College Queens at 12pm.
