Lions Shut Out By Rattlers

Lions Shut Out By Rattlers

It was cold and windy evening at Ambrose University for the match between the Ambrose Lions and Medicine Hat Rattlers.  On a day that favored the team playing from North to South due to the wind, saw both teams exchange chances but ultimately favored the Rattlers.  Ambrose had multiple chances early in the game, however Kassidy Suberlak came up with multiple key saves to keep the Lions off the scoreboard.  The Rattlers struck first in the 40th minute thanks to a penalty kick goal by Cassidy Larochelle.  After the Medicine Hat goal, they were able to keep the momentum on their side, scoring two more goals in the 2nd half.  Kaylei Hole added to the Rattlers led in the 65th minute (assisted by Aleena Matthews) and the 71st minute, getting two more goals past Ambrose Lions keeper, Karina Kurtzweg.   Players of the Game were Kalei Hole and Bethany Herman.
