Rattlers and Lions play to a 1-1 draw.

On a mild Saturday afternoon, the host Medicine Hat College Rattlers and the AMbrose Univeristy Lions played to a 1-1 draw in women's ACAC soccer action.  In the Rattlers 2018 soccer home opener, a goal by Kaylei Hole in the 17th minute gave the Rattlers an early 1-0 lead.  The teams fought back and forth for the rest of the half but the Rattlers continued to lead 1-0 at the break. An early opportunity in the second half saw Ambrose ring a shot off the woodwork which left them trailing.  More sustained pressure finally led to a breakthrough by the Lions and in the 79th minute Emily Hintz score for Ambrose to tie the game at one.  The teams continued working hard to push ahead and the Rattlers had a late goal called back due to offside.  At the final whistle, the teams had played to a 1-1 draw.  The Rattlers return to the MHC Pitch tomorrow to battle the Lethbirgde Kodiaks while Ambrose has the day off.
