Rattlers prevail in thrilling 2-1 win over Kodiaks in playoff matchup

With just five minutes left in the first half, a penalty was awarded to Medicine Hat after a foul inside the box. Keandra Leslie of the Rattlers stepped up and calmly converted the penalty kick, sending the ball past Lethbridge goalkeeper to give the Rattlers a 1-0 lead. As the first half drew to a close, Lethbridge called a timeout with 2:41 remaining, regrouping for a potential push in the second half.
The Medicine Hat goalkeeper was a key figure in the opening 20 minutes, making a series of impressive saves to keep her team in the game.
