A late own goal by the SAIT Trojans lifted the Keyano Huskies Women's Futsal team to a 3-2 win Friday morning at the 2023 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Futsal Championship at the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre in Fort McMurray, Alta. 

The Trojans and Huskies traded goals in the first half, with Felicia Rodney scoring for the Huskies and Emma Ward finding the back fo the net for the Trojans.

In the second half, Amy Fallows scored for the Trojans while Marissa Mestre notched a goal for the Huskies. 

Both goaltenders were sharp on their game outside of the four goals and late own goal.

Kendra Metz claimed Player of the Game honours for the Huskies while Erin Mergen earned them for the Trojans.
