NAIT Ooks win a close one over the Wolves

LAC LA BICHE – Led by Carly Speelman's stellar goaltending, the NAIT Ooks defeated the Northwest Polytechnic Wolves 2-1 at the ACAC Futsal North Regional at the Bold Center Friday night. Goals by Sarah Moorji and Rachel Kraft for the NAIT Ooks while Khloe Webber responded for the NWP Wolves.  The result brings the NAIT Ook's record to 1-0 while the NWP Wolves fall to 0-1. The top three teams from the weekend's action will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 10-12 in Fort McMurray.

Player of the Game for the NAIT Ooks was Alana Mawhinney and the Player of the Game for the NWP Wolves was Arianna Payne.
