NAIT Ooks win a nail biter over the hometown Voyageurs

LAC LA BICHE – Led by Rayna Hamieh's game winning goal, the NAIT Ooks defeat the Portage College Voyageurs 2-1 at the ACAC Futsal North Regional at the Bold Center Sunday Afternoon. Rachel Kraft also scored for the NAIT Ooks while Miriam Kabonesa responded for the Portage Voyageurs. The result brings the NAIT Ooks record to 3-2 while the Portage Voyageurs fall to 0-5. The NAIT Ooks have finished in 3rd spot in the Women's Futsal North Regional and now qualify for the ACAC Championships March 10-12 in Fort McMurray.

 

Player of the game for the NAIT Ooks is Sarah Moorji and the Player of the Game for the Portage Voyageurs is Miriam Kabonesa.
