In Their Last Round Robin Match NAIT OOKS Take on Lethbridge Kodiaks

In their last round robin match Lethbridge Kodiaks take on NAIT OOKS. OOKS working hard start the game off with immediate shots on Kodiak's net. And with a successful set up from #14 Rachel Kraft, OOKS #13 Sarah Moorji lands their team on the board. With the momentum from helping her team get the first goal with the assist, #14 Rachel Kraft. Feeling the pressure of the OOKS Kodiaks pick up the intensity and with a breakaway from #2 Meaghan Welby, Lethbridge is on the board. Feeling the high from shortening OOKS lead #15 Jayna Timinski makes it a tie game. Both teams' amp up the pressure both offensively and defensively which keep it at a tie game heading into the second half.

Staring the second half we can really start to see NAIT turning up the offensive pressure working to get a lead on the Kodiaks. OOKS Moorji playing hard at the net is able to land a hat trick which lengthens the game to a 2-point lead. OOKS continue to pressure Kodiak's defense and with a goal scored by #14 Rachel Kraft OOKS now have a 3-point lead on Lethbridge. Lethbridge's #5 Ashley Sazalski land one on the board leaving her team trailing by only two now. In the last two minutes of play we see the Kodiaks gain more ball control which begins to pressure the OOKS keeper even with the pressure from the Kodiaks goalkeeper Kailey Harper was able to stop all shots. OOKS take the win 5-3.
