SAIT Trojans vs Lethbridge Kodiaks Women's Futsal Championships

In there last match of the day SAIT Trojans take on Lethbridge Kodiaks. Both teams start of strong with immense amounts of aggression in both offensive and defensive play. First to get on the board is SAIT with a goal scored by number 18 Jade Metz. Shortly after Lethbridge Kodiaks are able to even out the game with a goal from number 5 Ashley Sazalski. As both teams continue with their best play and good goal tending, we finish the first half with a tied game.

The second half we see more foot work and ball movement from the Trojans, and in there constant ball movement they work hard to get the lead. With a pass from number 7 Jasmin Salmon number 9 Meaghan Wiebe is able to get SAIT that 1-goal lead. Despite many attempts from the Kodiaks nothing was able to slip past goalkeeper Erin Mergen. At the end of the second half SAIT takes the win 2-1 ove the Lethbridge Kodiaks.
