Tough Loss for the Ambrose Lions
Calgary, AB- The women's futsal teams were putting in their strongest effort for their final match of the day this Saturday, February 26th. The Ambrose Lions were hungry for their first win of the season against the Lethbridge College Kodiaks but unfortunately came up short. #22 Shifra Hetherington contributed a goal in the first half. Lethbridge countered with 3 goals, scored by #3 Megan Morrison, #15 Jayna Timinski and #23 Kaleigh Stock. The score going into the second half was 3-1 for the Kodiaks. Morrison Contributed another goal as well as one goal coming from #22 Olivia DePasquale. #10 Janessa Parker from the Lions scored a goal in the second half, making the final score 5-2 for the Kodiaks.
The Players of the game were #3 Megan Morrison from the Kodiaks and from the Lions, Goal Keeper Olivia Awe won the POG.
