The Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves welcomed the Augustana Vikings to the NWP Gym for a Saturday afternoon match.

The first quarter action begins with #14 Mackenzie Mrazik of the Augustana Vikings opening the scoring with 2 successful free throws at the line, Mackenzie shortly after gets another 2-point basket leading to a score of 4 for the Vikings to the Wolves 0. Scoring for the Wolves opens with one successful free throw from Paige Snyder. #11 Maren Macdonald of the Vikings lays up a 2 bringing the score to 12-5 with Vikings in the lead. Sam Blum of the Wolves shoots a 2-point basket off the drive for the Wolves. The score is 9-19 when the Augustana Vikings call a time out. The first quarter ends with a score of 9-21 with Vikings leading.

The second quarter starts with #4 Tayah Fiveland of the Vikings gaining another 2-point basket. NWP Wolves call a time out at a score of 11-27 with Vikings maintaining their lead. Following the time out #9 Lauren Cardinal scores 2 for the Vikings. Immediately followed by Wolves player #15 Paige Snyder also shooting for 2. #20 Raylene Badger of the Wolves drains a 3 bringing the score to 16-31. Vikings call a time out with a score of 20-34 on the board. The first half ends with a score of 24-44 with the Vikings in a 20-point lead.

In the second half scoring is opened by #8 Elli Caliliau of the Augustana Vikings who lands a 3-pointer. A timeout called by the NWP Wolves at 24-59 with Vikings leading. #6 Abby Crown of the Wolves goes 2 for 2 from the line to bring the score to 26-59. #4 Gracie Reschke of the Wolves shoots a 3 to bring the score to 26-61. The third quarter ends with a score of 31-61 with Vikings leading by 30.

The fourth and final quarter takes off with a basket from the Augustana Vikings player #11 Maren Macdonald. A time out is called by the NWP Wolves at a score of 31-65. #5 Makayla Porteous shoots 2 for 2 at the free throw line bringing the score to 37 for the Wolves. #23 Emma Fraser goes 2 for 2 at the line for the Vikings, bringing the score to 37-76. #20 Raylene Badger of the Wolves scores 2 for NWP. The final score of the match is 41-76 with the Vikings victorious.
