Lakeland's women's team needed a strong start to the second semester and they got it Friday evening.
The Rustlers hosted the NWP Wolves for the first of two games on the weekend. Lakeland lead 17-8 after the first quarter, though the Wolves put up a fight to close the gap to 11. Then Lakeland closed the half on a run to lead 46-27, ending in a 94-52 win.
Alana Olson (30 points) and Raylene Badger (14 points) were the POG's. The rematch is set for 1:00 PM on Saturday.
