Lions win Big over Rattlers

The Ambrose Lions headed into the Snake Pit to take on the Rattlers in a Thursday Night Matchup. From the opening tip the Lions were in control of the game. Able to put up a few baskets early, Ambrose opened up a quick lead and controlled the Rattlers at the other end of the floor. The Rattlers tried to respond but were continually frustrated on offence. Medicine Hat was able to start to chip away but the Lions held a 23-13 lead after one. 

The second quarter was a photocopy of the first with the Lions continuing to pull away. Medicine Hat looked frustrated on offence while the Lions continued to hit big shots. By the end of the frame, Ambrose led 54-25. 

The Rattlers came out of the Break ice cold. The Lions kept them off the board for over 6 minutes at the start of the half. With not much time left on the Clock the Rattlers were only able to score 6 points in the frame. 

With the game all but over the teams continued to push the ball end to end and looked for points. The defence looked to ease up and the teams both put up 16 in the final frame to end with a final of 90-47.
