WBB| Kodiaks Remain Undefeated as They Take Out the NWP Wolves in Interdivisional Matchup
The Kodiaks looked to stay in the win column with their first matchup against the northern division as the NWP Wolves looked to get their first win.
The Kodiaks came out taking solid control of the game right away as the Wolves struggled to get their feet moving and gain any momentum allowing for the Kodiaks to gain a significant lead as Kodiaks #9 Courtney Deemter led the team with 6 points putting the Kodiaks up 20-4 after the 1st quarter.
The Wolves were able to get their feet moving a bit more in the 2nd quarter trying to stay as close as they could to the Kodiaks despite being outscored 10-8 bumping the score to 30-12 for the Kodiaks heading into halftime with the Kodiaks looking to maintain their momentum headed in the 2nd half.
The Kodiaks continued to grow their lead in the 3rd quarter as the Wolves struggled to create offensive chances as Wolves #20 Raylene Badger was still able to put up 10 points in the quarter but continued to fall short on the scoreboard as the Kodiaks had a 49-28 lead heading into the final frame.
The Kodiaks made sure there was no room for the Wolves to get anywhere holding them to 5 points in the quarter while Kodiaks Madison Barfuss picked up 7 points of her own in the 4th for the cherry on top to seal the deal with Lethbridge closing out with a 70 -33 win over the Wolves.
