Ooks Defeat Wolves

Saturday afternoon, the NAIT Ooks played against the GPRC Wolves for the second time this weekend. The Ooks were able to win both the games against the Wolves. Ooks won 81-47.

Both teams played well in the first quarter. The Ooks #4, Aphia Ward, scored the game's first points from the foul line. The Wolves made several defensive rebounds, successfully taking away second chances from the Ooks. The Ooks led 20-10 at the end of the first quarter.

The Wolves tried to close the gap in the second quarter but were unsuccessful. The Ooks defense continued to put pressure on the Wolves, causing turnovers and taking away scoring opportunities. At the end of the first half, the Ooks led 33-21.

The third quarter was a strong quarter for the Ooks as they scored thirty-one points. The Wolves have had strong rebounds on both ends of the court. At the end of the quarter, the score was 64-34, with the Ooks winning.

In the fourth quarter, play went back and forth between the teams. The Ooks finished the game with the five graduating players they recognized afterward. The Ooks won the game 81-47.
