Trojans drop close one to Rattlers

CALGARY, ALTA., (Jan. 22, 2022) - For the second straight night, the SAIT Trojans women's basketball were involved in a tight game. On Saturday night, they were on the losing end of it.

SAIT fell 72-69 to the visiting Medicine Hat College Rattlers in their Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) game played at SAIT's Campus Centre. On Friday night in Medicine Hat, it was the Trojans who came out on top with a 78-73 overtime win.

The Trojans fall to 7-2 on the year, while Medicine Hat improves to 5-5.

Anegor Wol led the Trojans with 18 points, while teammate Kyler Varga added 16.

Katelyn Rozdeba led the Rattlers with 20 points.

Varga and Rozdeba were named Players of the Game.
