CALGARY, ALTA., (Nov. 26, 2021) - In a back and forth contest played at SAIT's Campus Centre, the SAIT Trojans women's basketball team came out on top.
The Trojans moved to an Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) South Division best 5-0 after a close 80-78 victory over the Briercrest College Clippers.
Briercrest College falls to 0-5 with the loss.
SAIT was led by Ava Kearl, who scored 8 of her team high 26 points in the final quarter of play to help seal the win. Teammate Brook Baker added 22 of her own.
Maddie Beattie led the Clippers with 22 points.
Beattie and Kearl were named Players of the Game.
