November 20, 2021- The Kodiaks were back on home court as they looked to get the weekend sweep against rival Medicine Hat Rattlers

The Medicine Hat Rattlers came into the first quarter at full speed without taking their foot off the throttle with Rattlers #12 Jasmine Gardiner leading the charge accounting for 13 points as the Rattlers lead the scoring after the first quarter 26 to 17.

The Kodiaks looked to get themselves back in the game by stepping up their offense to the next level quickly collecting points to get the game back tight thanks to Kodiaks Courtney Deemter coming up huge with 13 points and 1 rebound in the quarter to give the Kodiaks the 41-40 lead heading into half time.

Entering the third quarter, both the Kodiaks and the Rattlers knew they had to make something happen in order to take control of the game, Kodiaks Courtney Deemter once again took control and collected 7 points in the quarter to push the lead to 55-54 Kodiaks heading into the final frame of the match.

The Kodiaks kept the momentum in the fourth quarter maintaining the lead throughout due to their defense and strong offense from Kodiaks Kirsten Barwegen who put up 8 points in the final quarter to help lead the Kodiaks to a 76-65 victory over the Rattlers to complete the weekend sweep over their rivals.
