The Rustlers go 2-0 against the Keyano Huskies.

The Lakeland Rustlers took on the Keyano Huskies this afternoon at Lakeland College at 3pm to conclude the double header weekend. The Lakeland Rusters and the Keyano Huskies were neck and neck throughout the whole game with strong defense and offence facing off the whole game. The Rustlers started led in the 1st Quarter with 7 points from #7 Sarah Dacuycuy to lead the Huskies 17-15. However, the Huskies came out with grit and a strong defense to try and hold back the Rustlers. The Huskies executed on second chance opportunities led by #23 Moiyan Toure to finish the quarter down by 1 point to the Rustlers, 30-29. The 3rd quarter was full of action from both teams with #14 Bilge Topaloglu with 6 of the Rustlers 14 points and #23 Moiyan Toure with 5 points for the Huskies to end the quarter tied 44-44. The 4th quarter was full of action with the score going back and forth between the Rustlers and Huskies till late in the quarter. In the last 2 minutes of the game the Rustlers led by only 2 points. The Keyano Huskies struggled to push back against the Rustlers and finished off the game 60-55 for Lakeland. The players of the game were #7 Sarah Dacuycuy off the Rustlers and #11 Casey Gorieu off the Huskies.
