Last time the Huskies played The Kings University Eagles on November 29-30, 2019 in Edmonton they won 74-62 and 76-65.

Riding a 10-game winning streak - the longest in the 15-school women's conference and 15-school men's conference – the Huskies are ranked No. 11 in recent Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association polls.

First Period

Keyano 14 Kings 14

Huskies called for a few travels but halfway through the first they perform a beautiful two- pass outlet to the other end of the court. Huskies' Moiyan Toure has a nasty spill but has a solid opening 10 minutes with 7 points and 6 rebounds. Huskies dominating the boards 11-5.

Second Period

Keyano 33 Kings 24

Eagles' Brittany Veldman hitting some key baskets to keep her team close. Huskies' Joy "Velocity" Victor has an early highlight reel play...weaving with the dribble up the court between defenders and finishing with an acrobatic layup while also drawing the foul and making the free throw. Huskies once again controlling the glass 26-11. A bit sloppy play with teams combining for 25 turnovers (Eagles 12 Huskies 13)

Third Period

Keyano 49 Kings 43

Back-to-back two-point field goals by Huskies' Marijana Besic to start the second half.

Eagles' Hope DeBruyn with two long-distance three pointers.

Eagles outscored the Huskies 19-16.

Fourth Period

Keyano 56  Kings 55

Huskies' point guard Aliyah Johnson picks up her fourth foul early and heads to the bench. With injuries and foul trouble, Huskies go deep to the bench with rookie guard Clarissa Bird coming in and playing well with two points and 2 boards.

Eagles take lead with basketball by Veldman 53-52.

Two minute to go. Things starting to heat up!

Victor cuts and takes a pass from Toure to once again go sky high with acrobatic layup. Huskies lead 56-53...60 seconds remain.
