It is rare that a team will put a W in the column if they are shooting 21% from the field as was the case last night when the Ooks lost 59-38 to the host Huskies.

If the Edmonton team is to secure a win today...someone needs to take the lid off the basket.  

1st Period

Ooks coach Todd Warnick calls an early timeout his team leading 5-4 as the Huskies full court press coughing up a few steals.

What was a basketball game turns into a track meet as both teams sprinting end-to-end with both coaches subbing frequently.

Huskies Kaleigh Sellers (5'6" Guard 3rd Business Admin St. John's Newfoundland) perfect from the field with a two-pointer and three-pointer for five points.

NAIT have 12 turnovers and Huskies score 10 points on turnovers.

2nd Period

Back-to-back threes with Huskies' Sellers and Aliyah Johnson (5'7" Guard 4th Business Fort McMurray) breaking mesh.

Johnson and Sellers lead the PACK with 14 and 11 points respectively heading into the dressing room.

Huskies hustle with 12 steals and 21 points off turnovers.

Ooks staying close with strong play from Mackenzie Emmerson and Sydney Hurlburt.

3rd Period

A Casey Gorieu (5'8" Guard 2nd Business Admin Stony Plain Alberta) three stymies an Ooks rally 41-33.

Johnson attacking the rim with 20 points entering the final 10 minutes of regulation.

4th Period

Huskies Moiyan Toure (6 Post 4th Early Childhood Ed Edmonton Alberta) takes control in the period.

Home Hardware/Boston Pizza Player of the Games for Huskies is Johnson with 24 points.  For the Ooks the nod goes Sydney Hurlburt .
