Sporting a record of 10 wins 6 losses in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) women's basketball regular season action the Keyano Huskies hosted the Grande Prairie Regional College Wolves, who have a record of 1 win and 17 losses.

With eight games remaining in the regular season, the game was important, not only in standings, but for confidence as the Huskies were on a three-game win streak but more importantly are looking forward to hosting the 2018-2019 ACAC Women's Basketball Championships Feb 28- March 2, 2019.

One of the quickest opening periods of the season on home court with only two fouls called.

Up 6-4, the Huskies went on an unanswered 11-point run, the highlight being a steal and layup by Moiyan Toure.

A three-point basket by Wolves' Kaitlyn Verduzco broke the Huskies fastbreak.

Huskies up 18-11 after 10 minutes.

Huskies have to stay away from fouls as whistled so far for seven, compared to one for the visiting Wolves.

They were outrebounded 25-19 for the half.

At the half, Huskies are only down 29-26 despite shooting 11-of-45 from the field and 2-of-12 from three-point land.

Huskies regain the lead 32-31 on a Toure free throw.

Back-to-back three pointers bring the fans to start the chant "Let's Go Huskies Let's Go."

After sitting 12 minutes in foul trouble, Kievisaite back on hardwood.

A Tyshaine Page layup at the buzzer makes it 50-40 Huskies after three periods.

Non-descript fourth period aside from some good Aliyah Johnson – Kievisaite plays.
