Olds ties up the weekend

CARONPORT, SK- The Clippers and the Broncos played a rematch game on Saturday afternoon, the outcome being, the Broncos tying up the weekend with a score of 77-115.

Off the ball the game started with an intense two-sided quarter, both teams battling hard to get ahead of each other with the Broncos pulling ahead. The score at the end of the first quarter was 17-25.

The start of the second quarter was more intense action, half way through the quarter the Clippers went off and increased their score to a 34-33 lead, the Broncos responded fast though and pushed the score all the way back to 41-53.

Starting the third quarter the Broncos pushed their lead even more, playing solid offense on the ball and forcing Briercrest to make mistakes, ending the quarter 63-83. A very huge part to the Broncos success was #22 Brittney Thibeaux with 39 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists in total beast mode.

Going into the last quarter the Broncos were consistent and shut down the Clippers, the game was high paced and overall a great game to watch. The final score was 77-115.

Player of the game for the Broncos was #22 Brittney Thibeaux with 13 rebounds and 6 assists in an outstanding game. For the Clippers #8 Tayler Janz played a great game as well scoring 14 points.
