Wolves host the Thunder for a weekend series

Wolves open with a 5- 2 lead in the first set of the evening. Thunder return closing up the scoring gap. NWP #17 Emmett Neuls serves an ace to bring the game to a 9 – 6 score for the Wolves. The back-and-forth action keeps the Wolves ahead as the Thunder fights hard to gain points. Big Ace from # 09 Tom Wheeler takes the NWP to an 18 – 14 lead over Concordia. Concordia's #7 Kyle Robertson delivers a huge kill as they work to take the lead. The Wolves take the first set 25-20.

Wolves serve to start the second set and take the first point after Concordia puts it out on bounds. #10 Josh Dumont adds another kill to his stats tonight. The Wolves lead 3-0. After a serve goes out of bounds, Concordia gets on the scoreboard. #6 Lane Matthews sets it up and #17 Chad Morrison puts it down for another Wolves point. Concordia answers back and takes possession of the serve. With a net serve, the serve goes back to your NWP Wolves. Concordia calls time out. #17 Chad Morrison can't be stopped. Wolves maintain their lead 9-5. #7 Trey Sanderson puts it up and #4 Kaden Bennett puts it down. #17 Chad Morrison sneaks it over the net and it's an ace serve. Wolves maintain their lead 11-6. Points go back and forth but Wolves still lead 13-9. Concordia sends a powerful kill across the court. #4 Kaden Bennett answers back with a perfect placement. Wolves lead 19-13. #6 Lane Matthews with the block, 20-14 Wolves. It's an ace serve for #10 Josh Dumont. Wolves take the second set 25-16.

Wolves come out strong in the third set. #4 Kaden Bennett and #9 Tom Wheeler make a dream team with an awesome block. Wolves lead the third set 6-3. #6 Lane Matthews sets up #9 Tom Wheeler who smashes it down, another point for your NWP Wolves. Give him another, #4 Kaden Bennett on the Wolves block. Concordia answer back with a perfectly placed tip. Wolves still lead 9-4. #15 Justice Bigstone makes the crowd go wild with a huge block. Ace serve for #4 Kaden Bennett. Concordia calls a time out. Concordia takes the first point after the time out. #9 Tom Wheeler answers back. Concordia finds their groove and gets two points back-to-back. #17 Chad Morrison puts an end to their streak as he rises up for the block. Concordia gets another point with a net serve by the Wolves. #15 Justice Bigstone gets another kill. Concordia gets an ace serve as the ball sneaks over. Wolves still maintain their lead 22-14. #1 Carter Tuttle and #11 Joshua "Kiwi Killer" Watson enter the game for the Wolves. #4 Kaden Bennett gets an ace serve. Wolves are one point away from the win, but Concordia hang on getting two back to back points. Wolves call a time out. After an excellent rally, Wolves finish the game and win the third set 25-16. Wolves win the match 3-0.

Player of the Game for the Wolves was #10 Josh Dumont.
