Men's Volleyball Huskies advance in ACAC Playoffs with in over Vikings

The Keyano Huskies Men's Volleyball team took care of business Friday at the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre, defeating the University of Alberta - Augustana Vikings in straight sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-18). 

Radek Brzozowski was the lone player from either side to reach double-digit kills for the match, posting 10. 

Trey Weinmeier had seven kills and Athus Silve added six to round out the team's offensive getters on this night. 

Likewise, Kylar Head was the lone player, Viking or Thunder, to reach double-digit digs with 10. 

Silva continued his torrid play at the net, accumulating seven blocks. Nikola Sreckovic and Chane Wilkins split setter duties throughout the match with Sreckovic claiming 16 assists to Wilkins' nine. 

Evan Richard lef the Vikings with seven kills. Boris Kuljanin led the way with six digs. 

The Huskies will now advance to the ACAC North Division semi-final where they'll take on The King's University Eagles on Sunday March 6 at 5:00 p.m.
